Jennifer Wright (Kaizen Owner)

RCC, CCTP, CCATP, ADHD-CCSP

As a therapist specializing in trauma, I believe that healing is a deeply personal journey—one that requires an integrative, evidence-based approach. Trauma impacts both the mind and body, and true recovery comes from addressing both with compassion, precision, and specialized care.

I draw from a variety of proven therapeutic techniques, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. Alongside traditional talk therapy, I incorporate EMDR, hypnosis, neurofeedback, neuromodulation, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy when appropriate. These innovative approaches help regulate the nervous system, reprocess trauma, and create new pathways for healing, resilience, and lasting change.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where individuals can reclaim their sense of self, break free from the past, and step into a future of strength, balance, and possibility. Healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone.

Dana Reaume

RCC, CCPA

My name is Dana (she/they) and I grew up in a small farming town in Ontario. I moved to BC to pursue my career in education in 2004 and have been here in Revelstoke since 2014.  I have 20+ years of experience working as an educator and school counsellor, in therapeutic programs, including youth residential treatment programs, addiction centers, and educational institutions. I am also a certified Restorative Justice and SMART Recovery Facilitator. These diverse positions have left me with a strong client-centred orientation, where I strive to meet humans where they’re at. I am of English, French and Indigenous ancestry. I am a descendant of Capi8ek8e from the Kaskaskia Nation, and many other Muskrat French-Indigenous people of the Great Lakes region.
I am mindful of cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic concerns as they apply to health and education systems. I believe therapy is a courageous and collaborative journey that involves building safe, trusting, and compassionate healing relationships. My approach to therapy is rooted in experiential, mindful, and narrative techniques. I see children (as young as 4), youth, adults, and elders in my practice. I strive to hold safe spaces for clients’ stories and provide gender-affirming, trauma-informed, equity-centred, and culturally responsive care. I have an Accredited Facility Dog from PADS, named Pyxis who works alongside me to provide dog love. When I am not teaching or studying, you can find me spending time with my family soaking in the beauty of Revelstoke, drinking coffee, or getting tattoos.

“Addiction is not a choice that anybody makes; it’s not a moral failure. What it is: it’s a response to human suffering.”
- Gabor Maté
“Relationships are the agents of change, and the most powerful therapy is human love”
- Bruce Perry
“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.”

Kim Younger

CCC, CCPA, SEP™, BSW

I am deeply grateful to call Revelstoke home once again. After 19 years away, I wake up each day thankful for this beautiful community and the mountains and waters that breathe life into me. This land reminds me of one of my core purposes in this lifetime: to support the reclamation and restoration of health within individuals, families, and communities. As a lifelong learner, I am committed to a decolonized approach to healing that honors each person's innate individual and collective wisdom, guiding clients from all walks of life—including BIPOC and settler communities—toward their fullest expression of self.

My approach to my counselling practice is similar to a tapestry—weaving together meaningful modalities to create a relational, relevant space centered entirely around your unique goals. Fundamentally, my work is informed by working with the organic biology of your nervous system, gently helping you to orient back to wellbeing. As a Somatic Experiencing® trauma therapist, I provide a warm, relational, steady, and collaborative space.

I specialize in supporting adults navigating the following challenges:

- PTSD                                                               - C-PTSD

- Chronic Suicidality                                           - Intergenerational trauma

- Grief and loss                                                  - Anxiety

- Climate/Eco-grief                                             - Stress/Burnout

- Life Transitions                                                - Depression

- Anger/conflict                                                 - Addictions

- Chronic Illness                                                - Medical Trauma

- Accidents (ie: falls, motor vehicle accidents)

I approach therapy with the belief that we heal when we can come into relationship with our story to not define us but to help explain what has happened and reclaim our sense of aliveness. Whether you are moving through the acute pain of a recent loss, feeling stuck in a pattern you want to move out of, I invite you to reach out. Your journey is unique and entirely worthy of compassion, support, and profound healing.
